BEWARE OF THIS INSTITUTION. AVOID IF YOU CAN. My experience at the Center for Breast Imaging and Diagnosis was appalling. Men walking in the area where I sat with no bra and a skimpy robe on. A teenager sitting next to me watching videos on her self phone and a male toddler running through the area where I am sitting with no bra and a robe on. The er was the worse. The rn in er put the wrong unit of measure for my weight which was not fix till I was in pre op a day later. I was also not given a band for allergic to medication until the evening I was admitted and nurse switch had happened. I was also being refused water and food until I was admitted claiming surgery when Dr. knew it was too late for me to recive surgery that night I wasn't even being put under only a spinal block. Wednesday September 8th I went into the emergency room for something small (so I though) my nurse was I believe her name is Patricia or Pricilla and OMG she's amazing!! She sat there and chit chatted with me when my nerves kicked in, if I asked for anything she was quick and did it with a smile! I ended being admitted and had surgery same night and my nurse after my surgery was Jaime... She was also super amazing smiling, talking and explaining everything to me! I am in active cancer treatment at St Joseph's Cancer Treatment and prevention center. Dr Carpenter was my second opinion surgeon and she is THE BEST. Along with Dr Tran, Dr Ferentino and Dr Turpin (who just did my reconstructive surgery) These people saved my life! The hospital is beautiful and the nursing staff amazing. I am in such good hands. In less than a year from the start of the diagnosis process, I will be back at work, healthier than before. Thank you St Joseph's
