Had to be seen in the ER for extreme head pain with nausea and vomitting. Was made to wait in the waiting room for 4 1/2 hours in pain with no comfort. The upside is that once a bed was available the nurses and ER tech was amazing. My first nurse was outstanding. He made sure that I got my IVs and meds for nausea and vomitting right away and that I was confortable. The downside, is that the Dr that was treating me only saw me once and didn't provide any information and didn't run any further testing. All he did was ordered m... read more
My Son was treated immediately in the ER, diagnosed, and treatment started for sepsis. He was admitted which is the 2nd time in a month. Every single staff member during both hospital stays were awesome. I love that they play a lullaby every time I baby is born. And I love that they say a short prayer every night at the end of visiting hours. I went to the emergency room of this hospital on July 26, 2017 because I was pregnant and started bleeding. I had to sit on the waiting room for about 4 long hours. When they finally called me they had me waiting there for a couple more hours. They run blood work and did pelvic ultrasound. When the doctor saw me he told me that he wasn't sure if i was only very early or i was in the midst of having miscarriage. He ended up diagnosing me for threatened miscarriage. My wife and I just got home after my wife delivered our first child at St. Joseph. All of the nurses and staff in Labor and Delivery and on the post pardum floor were amazing. So knowledgeable, helpful and kind to us and our little guy. Thank you St. Joseph!
