Old and new co-exist at St Francis in Phoenix, where the prefect blend of classic and contemporary is exemplified in cuisine, decor and vibe. Simplicity is key, as Chef Aaron Chamberlin's seasonal menu features delectable preparations made from the finest, freshest and locally-sourced ingredients. The nucleus of the kitchen is its wood-fired oven, dispensing the establishment's signature smokiness and distinctive flavor in every bite. The food was delicious, however the waitress spilled ketchup all over my white shoes( glob). no compensation for the mistake. she did mention a free dessert but fail to honor it.
One of our families favorites!
Saw the pig dip on Triple D and thought, I need that in my life". So I showed up the next day and ordered their finest Pig Dip. The bread was great, the dijon piquant, and the gruyere was, just fine. The stars of the sandwich however were lackluster at best. Porkloin was dry, and toothy. The onion jam was nearly indiscernible, like the kitchen was rationing it on a Saturday afternoon.. The bacon was bacon, soo, yeah. What a let down, I was really looking forward to this.
The bread pudding is delicious. Also, try the bread board. Chef Brenda is very accommodating and provides exceptional customer service!
