RecommendedI just got home from a week stay in St.Anthonys in Gig Harbor after being treated for pneumonia and COPD. It was my second experience with this facility and I have to say that besides being a beautiful facility that is equipped for anything, the total staff from top to bottom is the most professional compassionate group I have ever had the pleasure to take care of my needs. The worse service I got in any hospital was here at St Francis. Specially from. Dr Su Tin, you explain to her about your medical history and the reason you are there and few minutes later she is telling you a total different thing that what you told her, like she didn’t even pay attention what you said before. She referred me to a dr and wrote something that I didn’t suffer from. took my daughter in for chest pain cant go in with her been sitting in car from 1030pm and still waiting and it's 330am not very polite my daughter sitting in hallway
Although some of their nursing staff is good i.e. the american nurses and filipina nurses, the eastern block/ukraine/russian/muscovite nurses do not have the work ethic nor the compassion of the other nurses. I found that the the eastern block cabal of nurses did more to avoid work then they did to actually doing what was necessary. I spent 8-9 day/nights at this hospital and had more than enough time to listen to the calls for help and the reponses.
