Amazing Vet, Wonderful Staff Dr. Thompson is hands down the best vet I've encountered. She is patient and informative and very thorough. The staff is great, they clearly love animals. This vet is not in my neighborhood and I take a car there, just because I know it's the best vet in Brooklyn.
The Best Vet in Bay Ridge I have to say that I have had the BEST experiences with St. Francis Animal Hospital. My cats have been cared for by them for nearly eight years now, and I won't go to anyone else. Dr. Battiato brought my elderly (now deceased) kitty back from the brink on three different occasions. Nasty Techs/Receptionist but Okay Doctors! I know many people who go here and the majority of the complaints are that the technicians are very rude and unprofessional (I have heard very foul language, explicit conversations, don't seem to want to help, standing around, not helpful, attitudes and sloppy appearance). Kitten symptoms: -Blood in stool (poop) -Diarhea -foul odor in stool -loss of appetite -sneezing -vomitted once My boyfriend and I took her to St. Francis Animal hospital. Total trip time was 20 minutes. My kitten managed to poop all over her carrier 5 minutes before we got there. They charged me $4 for cleaning the carrier, which I thought was reasonable. (they didn't tell me I was being charged) Then they stick a needle in her back and inject water, the lady was so freaking ... read more

St Francis Animal Hospital ONE HAND ON YOUR HEARTSTRING, THE OTHER ON YOUR WALLET!! Rude staff and ONLY interested in running up your bill. Watch out, they will unnecessarily run every test they can think of in the name of "prevention". Be guided accordingly. Do yourself and your beloved pet a big favor and go to the Humane Society for superior care at a fraction of the cost.
Best Vets in the World Two friendly vets run this exceptional animal hospital. I couldn't ask for a better vet for my pets. These guys and their staff really love animals. I can't say enough good words about their work and the kindness they have showed to my pedigree doxies and stray cats. One of my dogs was very ill and passed on and Dr. Battiato showed so much kindness to my family - I can't thank him enough for his professionalism and kindness.

The Best Vet in the world! They are saints! Dr. Steven Brigande is truly one of the best doctors out there. Not only is he intelligent and professional but he is a genuine person with a heart of gold. He was able to diagnose our dog with Lupus and Lyme Disease when other vets had misdiagnosed our dog. With the proper diet and medications he gave us an extra 5 years with our beautiful dog.
