Please stay away from St. David's North Austin Medical Center Yesterday I left work due to nausea and vomiting. I started to experience severe abdominal pain to the point I couldn’t even drive. I went to the nearest hospital, St David’s. When I got there, the doctor treating me performed bloodwork and UA. She came back and said I have blood in my urine as well as the looks of a UTI. I did not have a good experience at this location. Customer service was not up to par whether in person or over the phone from the ER. I even left a message with the patient liaison and never received a call back. Highly disappointed.
I was very disappointed !!! I took my father to the hospital for having a heart attack. The lady who register him started negotiating with me over the co-pay. She started using tactics to make me pay more and more!!! It’s seems like she was on commission!!! When she saw me got upset she said why don’t we bill you ? I said I thought you said we can’t and she said no sir we can bill you. I was very frustrated by her actions. Horrible Experience This ER deserves a 0 If you have anything serious..don't go here! The only good part was the nice woman who did my EKG I went into ER with chest pain. They took 15 min checking me in instead of focusing on my chest pain. 1. The ER lost my blood checking if I was having a heart attack. They came back an hour later to draw more 2.
