I have a stylist that in my opinion is excellent but it is a shame she works with an incompetent staff that handles her appointments. The receptionists are very unprofessional! They screwed up my appointment and for the inconvenience, after I was there waiting for forty minutes and then had to reschedule the appointment, they said they could offer me a percentage off of my bill for my next appointment...Hmm now I am thinking ... read more
poor service I have not been to this salon in almost 3yrs b/c the experience I had last was so terrible. I went for a bikini wax which was so painful I couldn't believe it(and I've done this for years). The girl did such a poor job that not only did I bleed quite a bit but I actually bruised from it. From there I went on to the worst pedicure I've ever had. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME This is the worst place I have ever been to! The stylists are young and immature! The front desk girls they hire are all right out of high school and all they do is sit at the desk and giggle and talk and ignore the customers. The staff are also very rude and the manager is a complete moron. You never see the fat old man owner because the jerk is probably sitting on his yacht somewhere and hires nit wits to handle everything. The stylists have no experience. Super Cuts in Disquise Let's get real! I was hoping for class act but was ever so surprised when I saw a group of young girls straight out of school for stylists! What ever happened to experience? Pricing was expensive and my haircut was choppy. I'll never ever go back!
Crap Shoot I went to St. Cyr and Salon all through college and graduate school. I typically had good results (esp. with Julia), but had heard many horror stories. After having two awful cuts there (unable to be repaired) I would not recommend it to anyone. My last cut there left me with huge chunk of layers missing, uneven lines and nothing like the cut I showed the stylist. Classy & Worth it! Being new to the Worcester area, I found St Cyr Salon's website but was very skeptical after reading the reviews. However, I made my decision based on the fact that the negative reviews were mainly about the scheduling desk. I found that the reviews listed below were unfounded.
