The work order made me feel a lot better... (I had thought there was a bad connection in the wiring, because of how one light bulb reacted differently than the other two... When I pulled the chain in the ceiling fan fixture... ) Cam told me, that it had nothing to do with the wiring... I was really glad to hear that...
The windows are falling out. The building elevator breaks down and the interior looks like the building is occupied by Crack heads. The maintenance is terrible as water randomly leaks into your unit and no one has fixes anything.
In addition to the superb location (walking distance to city center, the main branch of the library, a grocery store, and a Mardi Gras parade route); the loveliness of the neighborhood; off-street parking (much of it covered); and the historic features of the building, the variable that lifts my rating to a *5* is the cordial and effective service provided by Linda, the property manager.
