Wife was told she had 90 percent blockage of subclavian artery. We were told it would not be treated but monitored. She has already had 2 carotid surgeries to clear left and right side. Voice/vocal cords damaged during 2nd Carotid surgery. Taking voice therapy to work on that. Worried about another stroke. Have since learned about subclavian stealing from arm and hand causing serious consequences. Not happy as nurse did not seem ready or able to explain the situation. Did not see Doctor.
When I had my heart attack 10 years ago, I was Dr. Ahmed’s first patient! My lucky day. My experience and relationship with him has been an excellent experience and he has taken the absolute best care of me!! I trust him completely.
