I am very pleased with the center. They go out of their way to make sure your loved one is well taken care of. The employees are very nice and respectful. Shannon and Marsha have been so pleasant to talk with about my brother. I would recommend The center for the living to anyone above any other center in the state of Florida.

I have been a vendor there for 3 years now for their Fall Festival. From my limited exposure to the residents, staff, and administration, I just can’t image the negative reviews here are justified. I’ve seen residents and their family having a good time and the Staff with the families also having a good time. The campus is decorated to the nines for Halloween and the Staff costumes are also well done. I had a deeply negative experience at this facility, and I feel compelled to speak out about the serious issues I witnessed. More seriously than the poor conditions of the cottage which was dirty and had a strong, unpleasant odor I witnessed extremely unprofessional and troubling behavior from certain supervisors. As a Black individual, I observed what I believe to be racist attitudes and remarks directed at Black staff members.
