RecommendedHad a great time at St. Andrews last night! We love Scotland it so we took the opportunity to visit a Scottish bar in New York while we were there. The scotch selection was extensive and the bartender, Dave, was the highlight of the evening! He was very personable and made a time of the bar very enjoyable. The haggis could've been more seasoned compared to what we've had in Scotland. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't great. That being said, the next time we are in New York City we will definitely be visiting St. Andrews again.
I go here whenever I'm in Times Square. Given that it's the holidays it was WAY more packed than normal but I was glad they had the business! Staff was just as friendly as always although food was a bit slower (not enough to be a big deal and the waitress was giving everyone estimates as the were ordering). Food was still great and their Scottish beers and scotches are great!
Great menu, terrific food, friendly attentive service, and character. Loved every minute.
