Outstanding service and well maintained cemetery.
Made our Memorial Day visit to St. Alphonsus Cemetery today. The Diocese of Sacramento has let this cemetery fall into major neglect. Homeless living behind trees, with all their trash. Trash cans missing and trash piled up. Improper landscape maintenance has lead to sinking head stones and walkways. Weeds growing instead of grass. What a shame. Landscape contractor uses grass and weed killer instead of edge trimmer around headstone. Very shameful and disrespectful.
