I was and still am In extreme pain and sick but urgent care turned me away even though, I was no longer paying for badger care, it was still in THEIR SYSTEM!!!!! So they turned me away. Everyone please be careful, if you were close to death, I'm sure these guys would turn you away if you had the wrong insurance.

My recent visit to SSM Health Urgent Care in Madison was infuriating. The "doctor" spent barely 90 seconds with me, glanced at my symptoms, and dismissed my concerns with a condescending “that doesn't look like chickenpox.” (Hint: It was.) When I mentioned my recent varicella vaccine and the possibility of a mild reaction, he berated me for “reading too much on the Internet,” implying I was foolish for researching my own health. I’ve been waiting over an hour. First the check-in person didn’t even take my name. I thought it was odd, but I didn’t want to tell her how to do her job. 30 minutes later, I gave her my information. She insisted she’d taken my name initially. She hadn’t. She copied my ID and insurance but still took down my information wrong. Writing this as I’m in the waiting room still.
