Had a really lovely experience with really kind people! Only had to wait around 20 minutes to be seen and came in closer to closing time. Was met at every angle by kind and supportive doctors, nurses and staff who helped get me on my way in no time!
Went in twice to urgent care and had a terrible experience both times. First time the doctor asked me what I wanted to do to fix the issue as if that isn't their literal job. Then they prescribed me something that wasnt even related to the symptoms I was having. The second time they essentially told me I had to do a Covid test and didn't ask if I wanted to do it. They then charged me $1,100 for this test. I do not recommend this place unless you want to go bankrupt and still feel awful.
I saw the warnings from other reviews that this urgent care was fraudulent, but had a good experience myself. Now, almost 4 months after my urgent care visit for a sinus infection, they have reclassified my urgent care visit as an office visit and are charging me hundreds of dollars that my insurance will not cover because it’s no longer considered “urgent care”. I was and still am In extreme pain and sick but urgent care turned me away even though, I was no longer paying for badger care, it was still in THEIR SYSTEM!!!!! So they turned me away. Everyone please be careful, if you were close to death, I'm sure these guys would turn you away if you had the wrong insurance.
My recent visit to SSM Health Urgent Care in Madison was infuriating. The "doctor" spent barely 90 seconds with me, glanced at my symptoms, and dismissed my concerns with a condescending “that doesn't look like chickenpox.” (Hint: It was.)
