This is a great place, you're treated with care and respect. They have their ducks in a row and it runs like a well-oiled machine, definitely promotes healing.... I was here for a total knee replacement.
My poor boyfriend was sent down to St Mary's to have an mri done this afternoon since our local hospital did not have the staff to handle it. From the moment we got there to the moment we left, we were treated with respect and care. The doctor, her first name was Mandy, was such a joy and answered all of our questions we had. The only downfall he saw was they waited what seemed like forever to him to get more pain meds in him after the last dosage wore off. I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt. My husband just had cardiac bypass graft surgery and from the time he entered the ER and throughout his surgery and postoperative care we were overwhelmed by the kindness and excellent care he received. Staff who had cared for him in the first days came back to visit him on succeeding days just to see how he was doing. The medical staff are highly skilled and just as importantly are warm and caring. my husband has had a heart cath, by pass debifulator 2 knee replacements within the last 3 years, each time we were present at the hospital he got the greatest of care on each floor. very impressive great staff great doctors compassionate
