I was there today and I have to say the Doctor on duty was the most incredible listener and answered every question I had- I did not feel like a number he showed true concern and was very good at what he does- I’m feeling much better! The staff was amazing and took very good care of me- I can’t thank you enough for your services today!
I have been in St. Josephs a few times since October with kidney stones and then bladder issues. WIthout a doubt, Dr. Blackburn, his staff, the entire staff on the fifth floor has been the most amazing group of people that I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I was just released from the hospital again today and Marie, a nurse on the fifth floor had such a great personality, made me feel so comfortable, listened to every single one of my concerns and needs and accommodated when she could. Unfortunately this hospital could be better than what it is. It’s unfortunate that it’s name doesn’t match up to the care they provide. Although there are some very good nurses and doctors they need to weed out the weeds that ruin their reputation. My first visit was good but my second wasn’t so great. So maybe they can provide consistent 4-5 star care in the future. Some of the doctors/nurses are just bleh unbelievably unprofessional. Ben Schranz is not getting the help or care he needs.
In my opinion, St. Joesph does not staff appropriately nor give adequate care. My friend was admitted yesterday, does not have care from a doctor that can help him, and they will not transfer him to a hospital that will give him the care he needs. Someone please help him.
Both of my parents were in the ICU at Saint Joseph’s prior to passing away. The staff was great, always so friendly, helpful, and really cared about their patients. They made a very difficult process easier for everyone in the family. I would highly recommend them!
The average wait time to see the doctor is hour and half past your appointment time. The billing department is extremely rude and unfriendly, they never have answers to your questions and spent most the time on hold.
To the pre-op team, Dr. Flick, and the wonderful nurses who take care of me after the surgery. Thank you so much!! The staff is so caring and discusses each step with you to eliminate confusion and concerns.
