The clinic is clean and friendly and on time.
If you can avoid going here, avoid it! I saw a provider and had X-rays related to a vehicle accident and SSM refuses to bill directly to my vehicle insurance. I have also not been able to get them to send my medical records and bills directly to me so I can submit to my insurance. What a hassle. I have seen two other providers outside of SSM and both bill directly to my vehicle insurance. Dr. WHITING said if I get tested for one STD I HAVE to be tested for another. Which according to their corporate office, I Do Not. Another fricken money grabbing doctor. Do they not get paid enough?
Specific to lab & blood draw: BECKY in the lab is gifted. Historically, I have been tortured, due to the difficulty of my veins: I have had multiple punctures; pain when the needle is in; huge, black bruises that take a week or more to go away. This from professionals whose job it is to draw blood. Becky, on the other hand, found a useable vein right away; “small poke” - actually true this time; got a tube of blood; put on gauze - and out I went. It was the least dramatic blood draw I have had since 1998. No bruise. No pain.... read more
