I have been a patient at this location since it opened. The staff are always professional, efficient and polite. Over the years, I have used many of the departments, always satisfied with the services and staff. The location is convenient for my commute to the city.
Check Your Bills! Visit on Sept 11, 2025 with Sara Anderson-Kim, APNP-CNP for an ear exam/quick wax cleaning. No foreign body. No anesthesia. Yet I was first billed under a surgical-type code (incision/foreign-body removal), then “corrected” to CPT 69200 (foreign-body removal, no general anesthesia)—still not what happened. In plain English: they coded my quick wax cleaning like a procedure you’d associate with cutting out a foreign object, then switched to foreign-body ear removal. Came to urgent care today for my sick toddler, as we were visiting from out of town. There was a bit of a wait (30 min.) but it was understandable given the number of people there. And the nurse and PA that saw us were very helpful, listened well, explained things clearly, and were very friendly towards my child (which can be hard to come by if you go to a non-pediatric specific practice!).
A 10-minute standard vision test was almost $600, all out of pocket. I have both vision and medical insurance as a federal employee on a national plan. I had no idea SSM was out of network, but they are only in network for one single insurer Superior vision — not available through my extensive federal employee options. My vision insurance covers out of network costs, but was expecting a normal charge for a standard exam, somewhere between $40-200. Shame on SSM.
