false advertisement on the internet that claims it is open on Sundays, but in reality, only one stylist was doing hair, and she claimed not to be required to do my hair. When I asked for the owner's number, she called her on my behalf and informed me that she was unable to do my hair. I was definitely afraid because this place is in the hood and appears to be abandoned. However, this was a deceptive advertisement. Don't come here if so be strapped!
I needed more hair done for a wedding. I called S&S around 9am. I was told a stylist would call me back. I received a call back from Ashley and we scheduled an appointment for later today at 12. I got there a little late AND forgot my hair. I had to go to a hair store to buy more. Ashley was so gracious about the whole thing. She was very professional. The parts are Cricket I asked for medium box braids and I got this I am very disappointed and it costed $180 she will not give me a refund at all just told me to get out and never come back
I really enjoyed this salon. It had an old school beauty parlor feel. Alicia did my box braids and she did a wonderful job and I would definitely go back. I would share pics but my face was bloated and YEESH! Overall, it was a nice little hidden gem that I would recommend. Very nice to walk in and really get the service you expect when you get your hair done. She washed and blow dried my hair, no fuss. It was a great experience overall and I will be going back.
