I have had a great time on the S.S. Badger all five times I have been on it. I love playing bingo and hearing all the corny jokes. I am looking forward to my next trip on the Badger. Time goes by fast.

The ss badger is one awesome little ship. All ways something to do on board. I am happy its still coal powered so that others can enjoy what it was like back in the day to travel on a coal powered steamer like the RMS Titanic.

EVERYONE should try this car ferry. It's a step back in time, yet updated enough to have a wonderful experience. I believe it is the only coal-burning ship on the Great Lakes. Great entertainment & food.

After 5 days of a wonderful road trip with my 88-yr old mother Traveling Upper Michigan (from Wisconsin), down to Frankenmuth, and over to the west coast line of the state, the ferry offered the much needed sleep and relaxation I needed before another 3-1/2 hrs drive back home in Wisconsin. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see everything as vertigo affect us both, slightly. I would do it again! Price is very fair.

Very impressive how the captan droped the anchor and spun that huge ship around and backed it into ludington port. I don't have small chil... read more

It's has been well over 20 years since I last sailed the badger and it's just as I remembered as a young child. Very clean and the crew members were all more than kind. They helped in any which way they could. I wanted my family to enjoy the crossing just as I did many years ago and it did not disappoint. Check in at Ludington was as easy as could be and I knew my pups would be safe. So much family stuff to do, my kids didn't know what to do first. The breakfast was great as well. The pricing to cross with a family of five a... read more
