I had a great experience in a nice house. Yes it was old. Yes stuff broke. They fixed it quickly, The only thing charged to our security deposit was disposal of a mattress we left behind. But then again we did clean out our stuff and fix the window we broke before we left. They were kind to us, they helped us avoid getting a ticket, and I told my friends to rent from them.
If I could rate this company with 0 stars, I would. Not only are the prices for housing absolutely outlandish, but the people in the company are so disrespectful and rude. Their main goals are to intimidate students and to make the most wild binding contract as possible. I have never been brought to tears on the phone by a stranger before, but SRP's Nancy did the trick. I would not recommend getting involved with this management company at all.
If I could rate this company zero stars, I would.
DO NOT RENT FOR THEM. My senior year I rented from them and it was the biggest mistake I had ever made. They will take you for every penny you have. They dont allow you to paint then charge to paint the already white walls white - $240 bucks, and make up ridiculous statements such as finding organics in the walls and faucets, aka dust. Our house was also built in the 1800's so no matter how much you cleaned it, it was still dirty. These people should be ashamed of themselves. Let's just say that the management is HORRIBLE! They have a front office person, didn't catch her name and she is just plain RUDE! She is really nice to the parents (who are manipulated into signing a rental agreement) and then treats the students like garbage! They must make lots of money there for their treatment and rip-off practices: THEY CHARGED 80 DOLLARS BECAUSE THEY HAD TO REPLACE SMOKE DETECTOR BATTERIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you kidding me?
