I rented from this company for 2.5 years. The first year was great, the second year was atrocious. They publicly advertised “forced air” in the apartment we wanted to move into. When we moved in, lo and behold, the system was broken. We asked management to fix it upon moving in, it wasn’t done. Here’s part 2 of my review since it was too long!! We requested maintenance numerous times, the maintenance guys all came, looked at the break box, replaced a circuit breaker or two, the problem wouldn’t be fixed so they’d say “I don’t know” and leave. None of these maintenance people were certified electricians. After living like this for a year, we finally said enough is enough. We’re not paying anymore rent until you fix what has been broken! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY MANAGEMENT GROUP. I’ve been a tenant for nearly 5 years, and the experience has been consistently disappointing. Most recently, I called about extremely loud construction happening directly above my apartment. It was so disruptive that a client ended a call with me. When SRM took over management of our building, their payment portal wasn’t set up. We weren’t sure if they were a legitimate company or a scam, and they have no in-person office to go to.
