After 7 years they have increased the rent the ABSOLUTE MAXIMUM allowed, in full, as SOON as they are LEGALLY allowed. I had a work order out for a MONTH to change a lightbulb in the dark main alcove entrance (unsafe neighborhood to have it dark) they admitted it was a safety hazard..... They will exploit all residents for as much money as they can for as little services as they can. Your rent will only ever go up, they will NEVER reduce. To quote them, "we do not reduce rents based on market fluctuations. That is a standard practice across our portfolio". So with a softening market in the area they just rented out the unit below us that includes an in unit washer and dryer (ours does not, we have to pay for the laundry) for over $300 less than what they are increasing our rent to. My interaction with Brooke was honestly one of the most unpleasant experiences I’ve had with property management. Her communication came across as incredibly dismissive, cold, and lacking any consideration for the actual circumstances tenants are dealing with. What was especially frustrating was the complete lack of empathy or willingness to work toward a reasonable solution. Great apartments. They allow pets and take care of the property.
Tenants have asked for the hot water to be turned down that is close to boiling WHICH is UNSAFE. On time w rent. What does it take for customer service???? We have a baby.
