Dr. Swami improved my quality of life to the point where I felt like a totally different person. One of the most compassionate Dr’s I’ve ever had. I found out today that Dr. Swami is retiring. I am so sad because he is the best doctor i have ever had. He saved my life. I had neurological symptoms and extreme pain. I had gotten tick bites many years earlier. He diagnosed me with Lyme disease and treated me accordingly. He is caring super smart and literally a life saver. I wish him a very happy retirement.
Without exception, Dr. Swami is the best doctor I have ever seen. He spends whatever time necessary to diagnose and treat, he is thorough, and he is extraordinarily knowledgeable. He genuinely cares for his patients, and he goes the extra mile and more to give them the best care. I saw 16 other doctors before him with no help. He has done what the others could not, and I am every day thankful for him! I travel 1000 miles to see him.
Local hospital provided 21-day antibiotic for bite mark on the head & said to follow-up with primary doctor w/KP for Lyme Disease. BUT KP primary doctors refused stating I had arthritis! I went to 2nd stage Lyme & was forced to quit my job! I had to purchase my own crutches just to walk. I frantically searched for alternative pain meds until I met Dr. Swami who verified & treated the disease and the whole person! He helped me w/payments! Thank you Dr. Swami and staff so much for your compassion
Dr Swami uses unconventional treatments that are not supported by science. He treated my wife for two years with several antibiotics for lymes disease. We found later that the conventional treatment is one or two months of a single antibiotic. Medical studies indicate that there is no better outcome with the longer treatments. It took an additional two years for my wife's white count to recover from the over medication. There is a reason that he does not accept medical insurance.
Dr. Swami saved my life and continues to care for me thoroughly and with compassion. He is not only concerned about the Lyme disease he also strives to take care of the whole person. His holistic approach has found conditions I didn't even know I had and he has treated them successfully. He performs the most thorough examination I had since being treated by my childhood pediatrician. He has found issues that my primary care doctor has not even given a second thought to. Holly is great too.
I'm convinced Dr. Swami quite literally saved my life. After unexplained symptoms that included complex migraines with speech impairment, and being almost certain I had lyme disease but unable to find anyone sufficiently conversant in the infection to diagnose me, Dr. Swami diagnosed me and provided a healing protocol leading to my recovery.
Dr. Swami is careful, thoughtful and thorough. I find myself in good hands under his care. You can be sure that he is considering all aspects of your health, as he does extensive testing to determine your overall health, and to prescribe the most effective medications for YOU. I would say it wasn't worth the amount of money spent to go see him. You wait hours to see him even when you have a scheduled appointment time. He doesn't accept anyone's insurance either. Frankly, I was no better after seeing him than I was before. He refuses to give you a straight answer about your illness and after the first appointment he starts talking about things totally unrelated to Lyme.
