The worst SNF in Pittsburgh. Patients selling pills. Nurses selling pills. Patients swapping pills for weed. Nurses swapping weed for sex. It’s a big, vicious cycle that’s out of control. Bottom line: at Squirrel Hill Wellness and Rehab, your loved one will ALWAYS come last.
I have been in several local SNF'S over the past year due to complications from multiple hip surgeries. I am not a person that usually would take the time to give a review. However it would be a grave injustice for me not to publicly express my appreciation and gratitude for not only the treatment but also support given to me by the staff and administrators I found their professionalism to be impeccable. My aunt has been here for the longest time and has always enjoyed being able to smoke. The new management has new rules where you cannot smokes anywhere on the grounds even outside!! That's so unfair and insane!! Why isn't there a designated smoking area? It's cruel to make all these people who have smoked for 40 years all of a sudden stop smoking.!
currently in the process of taking my uncle out of there. His belonging keep disappearing the food sucks and now its under new management and they took away these grown residence right to smoke which is torture.
