We had dinner there last night for the 1st time. Our waitress was great: helpful with menu suggestions and as our dinner progressed, the place filled up but our service did not suffer at all. A little pricey but we were very pleased with the tasteful and plentiful dishes. We will be going back.

Great service, great food! We went up for a ball game and i searched for a seafood restuarant and found this online. Coming from Wrightsville Beach, we very happy to find good seafood, as that is generally what we go out for.
This use to be our favorite restaurant in Chapel Hill. There has been such a high turnover of staff and management the service is inconsistent. Food is still good but don't expect great service, particularly at the bar.

Sorry to hear about time at Squids. You are correct , in the past 6 months I lost two great bartenders that have been with me for 7/9 years. It's hard to replace that, especially the relationships that they built with the customers/now friends. Our.waiter was.very knowledgeable and the food was amazing. Will go back again when we visit Raleigh next summer.
