About this business

In 1969, the land on which Squaw Creek Golf Course now sits was gifted to the General Dynamics Recreation Association. The land on which the club house and maintenance barn now sit were purchased by GDRA. The golf course and accompanying structures were built for $1,126,215. Fred Chambers, Lawrence Armstrong, C.J. Hall, and Ralph Plummer were instrumental forces in having the golf course constructed. This undated photo shows the ground breaking ceremony at Squaw Creek. I wonder how much digging these guys did with their suit... read more

The bunkers were about the best feature on the course. Cart path only and didn't seem to have a reason for it. Fairways are like parking lots, greens need a lot of work and you'll need a hammer to get your T in the ground. Probably won't play there again for a long time.

I am extremely impressed!! I've lived here all of my life and over 10 years overlooking Squaw Creek Golf Course in the mid 70's! I love seeing our culture growing in Parker County!!

Great job on the bunkers but fairways are horrible and greens are rough and hard as hell. It's cart path only too until they get grass back. They don't tell you that. Just have signs on cart. Be a long time before this course is anywhere close to being good.

I love the white sand bunkers and the greens are looking better than expected. Fairways need help. Perhaps more too soil and overseed for winter. Great job on clearing a lot of the brush to open up the course. Lots of improvements from the tee boxes to the greens to the bunkers. Very nice. The playing experience didn't change much but the fairway Maturation should help.

Fast greens...had a great time with my daughter out there. She gave me plenty of tips to use with my new irons!

Squaw Creek Golf Club is a hidden treasure in Parker County. The recent renovation to the course should make it fun to play for all ages and abilities with new forward and back tees being created. The new fairway and greenside bunkers look amazing. It's worth the drive out west of Fort Worth to play! Excellent weekday and weekend rates and the staff is super friendly!
