We were staying at hotel in East Liberty and ambled upon this very lively queer forward cafe. Everything is bright, colorful and inviting. Like the metal old style diner tables. Also really like they don't serve liquor. On a Sunday AM- do I really need to be next to hungover folks well into their 3rd Bloody Mary. No!!! We had the corned beed bowl. The vegan burrito tasted awesome but for its size, it should not be $16. Disliked that the tables were so close to each other and I could hear the full conversation of both tables beside me.
Jalaya was our server. As the window says, free smiles were had. Great personality! Food was great as well. I had the Challah French Toast that was huge and very tasty. My husband had the breakfast burrito with chicken sausage added and he loved it. Thanks for everything!
Came here craving a real breakfast after eating basically the same lunch spots for 3 days straight, and this place did not disappoint. Ended up staying way longer than planned, worked on my laptop for a bit, then just stayed through lunch too lol. I was literally the last person in the cafe and the staff was so chill about letting me hang a little longer while I waited for my Uber. Highly recommend this spot. Also PLEASE get the cheesecake crepe, it’s unreal, genuinely one of the best things I’ve eaten in a while
