Squak carries a lot of Japanese maple Squak is a bit off downtown Issaquah along route 900 to Renton. It has a very good (and high quality) selection of Japanese maples. Their newsletter informs you of special sales, talks and seasonal tips. They have a spring and autumn sale which is a very nice time to stock up the expensive maples.
Best kept secret in Issaquah I have visited this nursery on a few occasions. The road in may be a bit long and make you feel like you are in the country, but when you climb the hill to the parking lot a beautiful surprise awaits. Great employees, full of knowledge and excitement for gardening. Beautiful plants await your yard when you visit this nursery. PROS: Great plants, great service CONS: off the road, but not that bad.
Squak Mountain Nursery is One of the best They have master garden to give free garden classes periodically. Information is very helpful. The quality of their plants is super and staff are very helpful and friendly.

Our favorite nursery Large grounds. Great Northwest hardy plants. Very friendly staff. Yes you can find cheaper prices at a warehouse store but you know these plants will last. Their expanded gift store is worth a trip even if you don't garden.

Very healthy plants, beautiful flowers, carry Organic products for your garden as well as for your flowering plants. Green houses are clean and well taken care of, so you know their product is also had the attention it needs. Would recommend highly!
Squak Mountain Nursery is quality & great service! This is my absolute favorite nursery hands down! Yes, the prices are a bit higher - but you get high quality plants! They support the local community with fundraising of plants in the winter & spring. The staff is super nice and offers great advise on all of your gardening needs. It is a beautiful nursery - fun to just go walk around and look. I love this nursery and highly recommend them!
We love this nursery We have been pleased with all we have gotten from Squak Mt. Nursery. Their Christmas open house is wonderful and they have so many poinsettias. Fun to visit and see the variety. The gift store is fun to visit also.
