Rude Staff/ Great crowd, music – The snobbish staff at this place needs a lesson in customer service. The guy with the dark hair and glasses acts like he hates his job the people he serves....as do a few of the others who refuse to give eye contact and smile. best rock club/bar in the west – well, in denver. not sure about the rest of the west. great rock n' roll bar with good drinks and friendly/casual bartenders and staff. i really felt at home at these bars, even though i knew no one and was just chilling by myself. bartenders aren't outgoing, but i wouldn't be (and aren't) either- and that was just fine. great place to music and good tunes rocking at sputnik too. thanks dudes
I love this place. – These bars can be crowded at times, but for the most part on a weekday night I'll get a booth. I don't find it to be more smoky than normal. The food is FANTASTIC! Especially if you are vegetarian, and it's very reasonable priced. The whole "restaurant" is just one person in the back, so I could understand that person being absent every now and then. Rock and Roll was meant to be loud and full of smoke. If you don't like loud rock and roll and cigarette smoke, there are a plethora of Starbucks-style corporate wastelands for you to sit and drink mediocre coffee in a smoke-free environment. This place is genuine.
Everything the last guy said is true.. – SO smoky. not nice at all. Also it was unbelieveably loud for such an intimate setting. we waited to order food for 15 minutes at the window, no one ever took our order! Maybe they don't really serve food like it says on their website! 2 people behind the bar were fantastic but not enough to make me want to go back. Well, maybe.
Too Smoky. – Good bar service, i guess they serve food, but that person was not around, This place was so smoky that i will never return.
