Stayed one night at this SpringHill Suites mainly because of its perfect location—just a short drive from the airport. As a Marriott Bonvoy member, booking was quick and easy, and I’m already familiar with the SpringHill setup, which fits well with my busy work schedule. Steve at the bar made my stay the best it could’ve been. All of the staff was warm and friendly but Steve went the extra mile. I told him about my early flight and he made me a morning breakfast to go box. He was caring and was a great person to talk to after a long day of traveling. Definitely coming back!
Airport hotels have capable shuttles. This place has an 11-seat mini-van that requires an advance reservation when you check in. If you check in late in the day, you'll have to walk to the airport? Simply incompetent.
I was there with a group for the hockey game this weekend. We were all in the lobby hanging out near the bar. Two patrons were having a discussion that seemed to tense up but nothing terrible. Out of nowhere the bartender starts berating the one customer telling him he was harassing the other customer. I was there for the whole “argument” - neither one was harassing the other.
