A little tired & dated. Bathroom needs an update. Had to ask for hand soap. Staff friendly & quickly responsive. Scrambled eggs at breakfast tasted weird, maybe powdered? But quiche was tasty. Clean. Pool looks nice. Convenient to have laundry on site. Across the way from the stadium. Duquesne incline is less than 2 miles away.
I hold Marriott Hotels in high regard, but my recent stay was deeply disappointing. Upon arrival, we were assigned a room that had not been cleaned, with visible stains, a malfunctioning shower handle, an old and dusty carpet, and a pervasive smoke odor. When I raised these issues, I was informed no other rooms were available that day and was told I could switch rooms the following day. We had a pleasant overnight stay in February 2025. A lot of families with children were staying at the hotel, but hall noise was not a big issue. Swimming pool was heated and the breakfast was filing. There is a parking fee to park in the hotel lot.
