Reception and room service staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and updated. Did have an issue with the AC having a smell. Location is close to reston town center and many Herndon office buildings. You do have to pay for parking which kind of surprised me.
Close to some restaurants, coffee shops, and the airport (IAD).
I booked online kind of spare of the moment for a 1 night stay. The room is nice, certainly more than adequate for my needs. I do think I over paid which sort of sucks when the budget is tight to begin with. When booking, maybe I missed the really fine print but there ended up being an additional fee for parking. It wasn't exorbitant but felt like a lot on top of the room cost. Maybe its the standard these days. Every one is glad to reach in your pocket if the opportunity permits.
This place has horrible customer service. We waited an hour at the airport, waiting for a shuttle, and nobody came to pick us up after calling them three times and they told us they were coming, they never came. Eventually, had to get an Uber.
