This place was awful. Not only was the pool gross and cloudy when we arrived (on a busy holiday weekend) within 2 hours of checking in they closed it for the remainder of the evening and the next day for an “incident” and had no idea when it would be back open. The bar never opened because of staffing “issues” the door handle on our bathroom was hanging off and there was mold in the shower— which also leaked all over the bathroom floor when used. Had a guaranteed reservation for the night before Navy graduation only to find they bumped us to another hotel next door with a different room type.. Our flights arrived late, I did a mobile check in saying we’d be late for our 2 queen room. I got a digital key error and they said to see the front desk. When I arrived at 11pm I was rudely told by the front desk attendant they gave away our room. They gave us a 1 bed and sofa at the town place. As a Marriott Bonvoy Titanium member, I have stayed at many hotels over the years, but unfortunately this was one of the worst experiences I have had. My room was not serviced, and even after I reported the issue, no meaningful action was taken. When I requested shower towels, I was informed that no service staff were available and that the towels would only be delivered the next morning—on the day of my checkout.
