Hello I'm a parent of a District 186 student and we attended their parent/teacher conference. The teacher informed me that a lot of students do not have pencil and paper when they come to class. So I challenged my FaceBook friends to go out and purchase these much needed supplies and send them to their child's school or contact the parent coordinator and maybe they are able to pick it up. Also take a picture of the supplies and #schoolsupplies186 . Now I'm challenging everyone else! Thanks for the contributions in advance.
As a neighbor to Benjamin Franklin Elementary School, my household was disrupted for several hours by the BLARING music played during the bonfire party tonight. Many of the songs played were vulgar. I am very disappointed. Kids shouldn't be exposed to Kid Rock; it's just cruel!
If you like children to be bullied- this is the district-& this is the place to be. My granddaughter has been bullied at least 3 times that she has told us that she was assaulted.
