I can never get a straight answer out of anyone in regards to my sons school registration. We opted out of our home school due to it being balanced calendar since siblings are on the regular school calendar. Every time I contact student support services I am told I will receive a call and always have to call back. On Friday I tried contacting them and was told a letter should have been sent out on Wednesday so if it wasn't there this weekend call on Monday. You have free lunches but none in the neighborhood that needs it most. Living on Renfro there is nothing for these kids in this neighborhood. This makes no sense.
Springfield schools has proven time and time again to care only about getting rid of children that prove to be difficult instead of helping parents or offering solutions. I have no idea what else to do and you are going to let a brilliant child fall between the cracks. I don't know why I expected anything more honestly. I've known public schools to be a systematic failure and Lanphier is the epitome of that. Also don't bother trying to contact mr. Williams for assistance. He will just ignore your attempts.
Who can I speak with about transferring my son from Grant Middle School to a different middle school next school year?
