I fucking hate this downright execrable, contemptible, worthless excuse of a school district as it has to without a doubt be one of the worst school districts in the Midwest. If anything, I'd even go as far as to say that it is one one of the most deplorable school districts in the entire country. Why? I am very tired of the backwards actions of this school district. I live directly across the street from a school and my child can't go (why I have no clue). They had to go to Blackhawk okay it's okay I dealt with that. A new year they are trying to separate my children by offering transportation for one and not the other. It's hurtful to see how things are done here. They didn't start for two months in this district. Now school has started day 2 and they won't be in school again because of their way of doing things. my wife tried to register are kids today a washington middle school and this is what happen to her so i had to quit my job today that i worked so hard to get due to child care........district 186 denied their transfer. so we went to the home school this morning to get them registered......we were told to come back between 2:30 -3:30. jay and i both told the secretary we would be at work til 4-4:30 for myself and after 5 for jay. she asked where he worked.....he said he held his bright yellow vest that has our company logo on... read more
Washington middle school needs to better conmunicat with parents. Got a letter on registration day that said 6th grade orientation is from 8-12 today. 12:45 rolls around and my son is still not back from school, I call only to find out that they were just then getting on the bus to come home and were leaving the parking lot at 1. Should have noted that on the paperwork. So parents aren't freaking out that their children aren't home 45 minutes after the time they were suppose to get let out.
My children go to Iles. Incredible school and impressive staff and administration !
