This department is a Joke. I left a small pile of branches & leaves at the edge of my driveway, as instructed, so that they could be picked up by the Public Works Department. I came home to a lousy excuse as to why my pile was not picked up. What bothers me is that my neighbors property has been abandoned; not had any maintenance done in over 3 months with no resolution, yet you guys want to make a scene about my branch pile. My trash can was crushed by the trash truck ( the regular truck with 2 guys placing the cans on the back, not the truck with the lift arm) on Friday June 10th breaking the handle and ripping the lid off, which remained in the truck when they drove away. It took till Friday June 17th to get the can replaced. I saw 2 other cans on my road that were busted worse than mine. When I called 4 days after it happened, the trash man hadn't even reported it. I am on their long waiting list to have my ditch repaired because when it rains my yard floods!
