We came to the area to see some Fall foliage and spend the day at Governor Dodge State Park. I loved the Inn, pool and hot tub was great and the staff was very nice. They even went to the trouble to start a bon-fire for only myself and my granddaughter. Awsome fire pit. I would definitely stay here again. A little early for peek colors but a nice little trip.
This is a nice relaxing place to stay and close to the sights.

Found this place on short notice and it was a great place to stay with really good food and drink.
Wonderful evening celebrating with old friends at Pat's Place in the Spring Valley Inn. Great meal for six prepared by Chef Cole. We had four courses starting with two soups, carrot ginger and corn chowder, both so tasty you will be delighted. Then we had some excellent empanadas made two ways, one lamb and the other caprese all followed by Bahn Mi sandwiches that will become your favorite sandwich ever after one bite.
