On August 26th, 2019, I was misdiagnosed and given incorrect treatment by Spring Valley ER. Six months later, I finally had surgery in Bend, Oregon. I could have had it on Aug 26th if Spring Valley would have performed a simple ultrasound. The assistant administrator, Joseph Mount, states even though I slipped through the cracks, I still owe them $2780 because I used their building. The rn or whatever she was did my IV Wrong and got blood all over my clothing and there is no privacy they would be under a lot of fire if hippa came because they are not following the health laws set in place for a patients privacy if something is wrong with you everybody in the waiting room knows oh yea and they work out of there waiting room when they could have people in the back because there were plenty of open beds

emergency room staff is great except admitting person...
I entered the hospital for a surgery that required one night stay. They sent me home after two days with pneumonia and I had to be readmitted two hours later and elected NOT to Return to Spring Valley Hospital! A lack of communication among the departments and some staff that seemed disorganized and laissez-faire. I am now on day five of my recovery at Southern Hills Hospital which in comparison is a smooth running machine with an efficient, responsive and compassionate staff!
Nurses Are the very best. Very attentive and personable. I received constant attention. Supervisory was also available for review. Would highly recommend Spring Valley Hospital.
