This facility is a joke, a dangerous joke. My 13-year-old was admitted yesterday on an involuntary 48 hour hold. 24 hours later, the staff called me to obtain my consent for him to take his medication -they had neglected to give him his meds last night! So he went all day today without his meds. I tried to bring him home tonight, but I can't until 24 more hours pass. It would be very helpful if yall listed people at the hospital that the parents could call and see how there child is doing .instead of going through so many different people have a blessed day

Horrible facility overall. Very little concern or care for patients. No hot water for 13 days in men's shower. Numerous violations of legal and patient rights. Purely a disease model facility with regurgitation of ineffective positive thinking group therapy. No real therapy sessions. So bad I'm writing a book on it, "Bethany Behavioral Hellth", to be released this week.

I typically never do this, but as a truly invested parent in my child's recovery, I am going to post this as many times as I possibly can. Day 1 Intake: I ensured my child had a week's worth of clothing hand-delivered by 2 pm day of intake. They did not give him his belonging until the next morning. Day 3 my child was transported and reassigned to another ward without my content OR notification. I had a leak in my garage that caused warping from the ceiling to the floor of one garage walls. I submitted a maintenance request and per usual the maintenance team was prompt in addressing the request. They came by to look at the damage and advised the issue would have to be escalated to the builder for repair under the builder’s warranty. I never received a follow-up from anyone on plans to repair it. If you are planning to give birth at the Valley hospital, all I can wish for you is good luck....you are definitely going to be ripped off by the Valley mafia! My wife gave birth in the Valley Hospital in March 2020. This is far the worst hospital you can choose to bring a new life in this world. Awful just awful! They didn't believe a word I said. I had a traumatic brain injury I was not mentally ill. Most of the patients are felons and addicts. The staff delayed my treatment for my brain injury. The psych doctor sees you on a computer and rushes the visit. Its all about the dollar! The coffee machine was covered in ants. The A/C went out and no fans were provided. Patients were sleeping on the floor in the hall. A patient freaked out and was throwing computers and we were left to fend for ourselves. After a couple days I decided to write another review this place is extremely horrible!
