I stayed at SpringHill Suites Rochester next to the Mayo Clinic for my husband’s procedure, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The front desk staff were very disrespectful, particularly a younger man who was constantly on his phone while guests were trying to ask questions. He even rolled his eyes, which was incredibly unprofessional. This is supposed to be a 3-star hotel, but based on our experience, I would rate it 1 star. Here for a Mayo Clinic procedure at St. Mary's Hospital. No wheelchair available in hotel lobby, and handicapped parking spaces too small for a pickup truck. Feels like a sketchy neighborhood with a fleabag motel next door, even though it's directly across the street from a Mayo hospital. Old, run down building with paper thin walls and floors. Rooms smell moldy. Needs to be updated! Parking is only 7.00 per day. Pool and hot tub look like a motel not a hotel! Great free breakfast options! Location right across from St. Mary's Mayo Hospital.
