Dr Spriggins is a brilliant, gifted surgeon. I had pain in my hip, and I was limping. Had a hip replacement two & a half months ago, followed by the Physio exercise routine. Now no pain, no more limping, and ROM continues to improve. Also he left such a small, neat, pretty scar. If or when I need my other hip done, I will not hesitate to go back to him. Surgery to repair a labral tear on my hip should not have been done. The results have been devastating for myself and have reduced my once very fit, strong and active body to being able to only walk up to 50metres. There was no consideration of the fact that I was petite - he was arrogant and very quick to operate, dismissing my questions and concerns with the indication that I should simply do as he said.
