They were the first and ONLY recommendation we got from our planner when we told her we wanted to do a non-traditional tapas style meal for our wedding, and we were completely sold from the jump. I’ve been using Spotted Hen Catering for many years, and they are always a standout. If you’re looking for something less corporate and more farm-to-table, this is it. Their food is thoughtful, seasonal, and full of flavor. Perfect for clients who want that elevated yet comforting vibe. Their staff is also consistently professional and on top of it. I’ve never had a client disappointed after working with them. If comfort food with a refined twist is what you’re after, I highly recommend Spotted Hen.
I used Spotted Hen for catering for two afternoon snack breaks for an event at Caltech and had a wonderful experience. After I provided our budget and event vision, the team at Spotted Hen put together a menu with options that met all of our dietary restrictions and made it so easy on me as a host. The charcuterie and Mediterranean platters were as beautiful as they were delicious. The communication from the team was wonderful and delivery was on time. I will use them again next time I host in Pasadena!
Taylor, Chef Terri, and the team at Spotted Hen did an incredible job at our wedding. Everyone raved about the food, from the welcome sangria, to the grazing station, to the plated farmers market salad and buffet of farm to table style mains and sides.
