My husband was seen here after a car accident and his prescription was supposed to be sent in to the pharmacy. The next day, the pharmacy still had not received the orders, so I called the ER and they stated they would send in the prescription in a few hours. They still did not send the prescription! Now im told my husband has to go BACK TO THE ER to be seen again. Which is another 5-6 hours wait time, another $150 and is absolutely ridiculous! This hospital has gone downhill in recent years and it is truly sad.

Arrived at imaging center for a CTA contrast scan.  Was 30 minutes late getting called in for the scan but that is not uncommon, I suppose.  BUT, two of us waiting were called into the image center at the same time by Mark.  I was waiting for my scan and noticed that they had a different name in their system for my scan for which I voiced to the technician, who confirmed a mix up. . My bracelet was checked and I was asked to wait again.  Eventually Mark started my appointment with a scan then tried 3 times, unsuccessfully, t... read more

AVOID this hospital! Dr. Brian Josephs forced me in a c-section when I was dilated to 9cm and then lied about why he put me into surgery. He told the entire surgical team to write "failure to dilate" as the reason for needing a c-section. I called him out on his lie in front of everyone and then he said, "put arrested descent then." When my records were sent they were incomplete and had false information on them. They claimed my son's heart was having issues "persistent category 2" (the nurses told me nothing was wrong and h... read more

Absolutely horrible experience. Last 2 admitions where only 8 days apart was admitted one week each time with a speacialist recamending 6-8 weeks iv antibiotics. They treat for 5 days ,send home with oral meds even after it’s proven not to work. They don’t care about you or getting you better. Stay far away from this place.

I had a good experience considering how busy they were. It did take a super long time to get my medicine. The nurse and Dr were very helpful and explained everything very thoroughly.

Business response:

We appreciate you taking a moment to provide your feedback as it is truly valuable to us.

I do not recommend this hospital if you’re going to have a baby in the nicu for any reason. Nurses were great with me in L&D and mother baby but the nicu is just horrible... I’ve only had one nurse actually listen to me in the nicu and try to help my son. I had my other two sons at Mary Washington and they needed the nicu and they were phenomenal. Will never come back to SRMC.
