This may be the single handed worst run operation in the outdoors industry. I can see why the competition is killing you all. I went into the store to get a price match on Cabelas ad at the 84th store on a $1700.00 shotgun because the wait line at Cabelas was too long. The sales associate told me it was a rebate even though the ad clearly stated it was a sale price. RecommendedI want to let you know how disappointed I am. I have had problems with employees before , a man who clearly had a problem with women and guns . Now for three yrs trying to get a non resident fishing license . You’s need to train your people . I went to anglers cove got license in 5 minutes . I will never shop here again.
I started as a cashier in April 2012, then got promoted as a receiving/shipping clerk. I was promoted to Fishing Manager in 2014 by my highly respectable store manager Blaine Davey. He is now the DM. Before his departure as the new DM he assigned Paula Sullivent-Fry as the new store manager. I actually pulled for her to get the position, bad mistake. Ordered a Garmin 64st GSP when it came in the mail there was no GPS in the box. Just the cords. Called customer service was on hold for 45 minutes, finally got someone, she said one moment, & transferred us where we waited another 15 minutes. Got another person on the line, rep says let me get you to a supervisor. Now waiting old hold currently for probably another 8 minutes waiting for a supervisor.
Experienced the rudest supervisor this afternoon. He was going to honor a sale price of a water bottle after he even checked the sign that I referred him to. Then, as we had our debit card in the machine, he ran back yelling at the cashier to check the sku number stopping our transaction that he had already approved. When he told us the regular price, I told him never mind on the water bottle and that’s when he got rude and told us he would get in trouble if he gave us the wrong price. Terrible customer service. Can’t get a hold of anybody by phone at won’t answer emails. Cancelled my order and won’t refund my credit card.
RecommendedI just bought my first firearm there last Saturday. It was my first time in the store. Austin was amazing! He patiently answered all my questions and made some recommendations. He seemed to know exactly what he was talking about. He turned an intimidating experience into a pleasant one. I will definitely be going back for anything else I need.
I ordered my gun online and it is now a day past the delivery date, I called to check on my order and the staff REFUSES to even check the order. They do absolutely nothing to help you, all I asked was to check my order number, and the employee told me no, unbelievable customer service, what company declines to check your order.
