Been living with them for roughly 4 years now and here’s what I have to say. Not once did a maintenance request get through the first time of asking, still dealing with mold issues dating back to November they refuse to fix. Had sewage come out my toilet after a storm and it took them over a week to even come check it out. The staff aren’t any help at all. They have 2 emails and 1 missed call from me and refuse to answer.
Never, EVER rent smith properties. I rented with them for about two years during college and have never faced more stress and ridiculousness in my life. I had the same roof leak for a full year. I reported this leak at least 10 times during this period and had repair people come in 3 different times for this leak. The apartments HAVE MOLD. The repair people will spray paint over water damaged roofs and walls to hide the mold. These apartments are not fit for human living. Stay safe, don't rent smith. p.s.
