Interesting experience The very pleasant ladies at Spirits in Stone will gladly give you background information on the many Zimbabwe Shona sculptures they have available for purchase. These somewhat abstract forms are carved by sculptors who believe that each stone they start with has a sculpture already within it and the artist simply releases it with their chisel.
