Food is great but prices..... Love the food there. My daughter and I like to go and be able to look at the planes coming and going. But the prices are kind of high so we only go a little. We also like to go and get tea and cake. They are really nice about allowing us to sit for an hour and have tea.
Such a great place to take the kids Spirit of San Luis is right at the SLO Airport. They have a picnic area outside where you can watch the planes while you eat. We love to call ahead with our order, then eat out on the picnic table with the kids. They love it.
Very pleased! This restaurant has been a favorite of ours for couple of decades. A little pricey but that is our only complaint. This is a classy place with great ambiance,courteous staff, delicious food, wonderful beverage selection and pleasant clientele. There is a subliminal thrill from sights and sounds of being right at the tarmack of a top-notch little airport! We have taken friends here and celebrate special occasions here.
Airport restaurant proves good! I went to The Spirit of San Luis Restuarant when my Dad came to visit me, I found it to be better than I had expected! My Dad had a burger that he loved and I had a turkey burger. I would not recommend it if you are visiting SLO in general but it was a great eating place while at the airport!
Great way to celebrate a flight delay :) our flight was delayed... Spirit of San Luis had great service, great food, and great drinks... they even let us stay a bit longer after closing! Everyone there was so nice!
What a great way to have lunch Only in a small town can you take your child to an airport restaurant, order good food, sit outside and watch small planes land and take off. I love this place because it's all that and then some. The wait crew is wonderful and always friendly. We have lunch there twice a month. If you have a large group of kids, you can call them and ask to reserve the picnic area. Very helpful and understanding.
