Orders the special today. Beef stew over biscuits with side salad and dessert. Sounds delicious, right. Here is what we got. One small biscuit cut in half with little beef gravy on top of each half. Tasted ok. Side salad on the same plate with no dressing. Hmmm. The dessert was the chocolate bunt cake with chocolate syrup and who cream. Probably safe to say. Not impressed and won't be back.
The Goat is my new Fav! Love the food especially the lunch specials. I've always experienced friendly fast service!
Omelet with toast was great today for breakfast. Food was cooked quickly and fairly priced. Will have to try to get in more often for breakfast!
I love this bar, it's my kind of place! Great place to go for good food and drink!
We recently moved to Hartford and we love the goat. Lynn is awesome. Just don't go grocery shopping afterwards
I am from Hartford originally and went to the Goat with my parents today. It took over an hour to get our food and it wasn't busy. They brought our food out one by one. My parents were done eating by the time mine came. My mom ordered the mashed potatoes which were cold, my fries were cold. They warmed up the potatoes and brought them back, still cold. I have heard breakfast is way better but I can say, I won't be back.
