Well, we tried Spezzano’s and the reviews seem to be correct. The food was great and the people are super nice. We will definitely go back for more. This being said, our only disappointment was the condition of the place itself. We expected to be walking into an updated, nice looking marketplace. What we saw was somewhat disheveled. SO glad to have an authentic, family-owned butcher shop so close to home. Makes last minute decisions for dinner on the grill a snap! Awesome selection and service. Like the sign in the counter says, if you don't see what you're looking for, ask! And they mean it.
So I visited this shop for my first time on Saturday, right at closing. I was completely impressed with how well I was treated! From selecting the meat, to tips on how to cook it, to other specialties they offered! I'm pretty sure I won't buy another piece of meat from the super market again! If you want the BEST, I mean the Best Grinders ever ... Stop at Spezzano's in Tyrone. It is the hidden treasure in Atlanta!
I am thrilled to have found Spezzano's. I only wish I'd known years ago. Now I live up near the airport but drive down once a month for a few cuts. Their rib eye is the best I've ever found. Even when I cook it it tastes like the best steak house!! I've yet to try the sausages... Next time!!
Great character, great people and amazing selection.
I absolutely love the quality of their meat and seafood. The entire staff is extremely helpful. This is the best place to shop if you want amazing food sold to you by genuinely kind people.
