I ordered a new refrigerator over this last weekend by phone and they said it be delivered on Wednesday. When I bought it I gave the salesman my address (and spelled the name of the street) and said Sun City. Well they got the street name wrong and the address doesn't even exist and still sent him to Surprise not Sun City. If you live in the Phoenix area and need appliances, DO NOT SHOP Spencer's. You will get great deals, but the service after the sale is beyond abysmal. I bought a brand new dishwasher and waited 2-1/2 weeks to get it delivered and installed. Once delivered (and thanks to a conscientious third-party installation guy), I received a scratch and dent used model that had scratches and dents all over it. They offered $25 for me to take it - there was well over $100 worth of damage on the unit so I refused it. After several c... read more
I bought a new LG refrigerator from Spencers. It arrived with a dent in the right French door. I wasn't happy but they said they could replace the door in about 4 weeks. It looked really nice in the show room but when we got home we noticed a gap of more than an inch between the top of the bottom freezer drawer and the bottom of the two French doors. Boy do I love the great service that Spencer's gave me buying my new dishwasher! The salesman, Shane Cabrerra, talked me out of buying the Whirlpool unit I came in for, which had older technology (the 4-blade grinder), and guided me into a terrific Kitchenaide, for about the same price, but a MUCH better machine, and much better reviews. The delivery guy, Fabian, was awesome. I had elected to install the machine myself, and he helped me set up the basics, and coached me through the rest of the install. WAY easier than if... read more
